A safe, compassionate space to navigate life’s challenges and rediscover your inner strength.
I am a first-generation New Zealander of Indian descent, with my roots in Gujarat, India. Growing up between two worldviews has shaped who I am and allows me to appreciate both the strengths and challenges that come with cultural identity. I am a mother of two and, outside of work, I enjoy watching movies, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
I hold a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Diploma in Counselling (Applied). I have 20 years of experience helping individuals with a broad range of issues. I have a particular interest in supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and self-discovery. My approach is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to each individual, drawing on a range of therapeutic models to best meet your needs.
Types of therapy I use include:
Victoria University of Wellington Wellington Institute of Technology
New Zealand Psychology Society (NZPsS) New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC)
I specialise in a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues, providing deep, focused work in these core areas while supporting many other challenges.
Moving beyond the fog of low mood. We work together to identify underlying causes, process difficult emotions, and build practical strategies to reconnect with joy, purpose, and energy in your daily life.
Quieting the racing mind. Whether it's generalised worry, panic attacks, or social stress, we will develop effective tools to manage symptoms and create a lasting sense of safety and calm within your body.
Silencing the inner critic. We explore the roots of self-doubt and unhealed internal vulnerabilities to cultivate a compassionate relationship with yourself, helping you recognize your true worth and advocate for your needs.
Finding your authentic path. Whether you feel lost during a life transition or simply want to know yourself better, we uncover your core values and align your life with who you truly are.
Also supporting clients with:
I also provide cultural supervision for therapists working with Indian clients and supervision for clinical health professionals.

I charge $150 per hour for individual sessions. You are welcome to pay in cash on the day, or I can email you an invoice for a bank transfer. I will provide a receipt.
If you are coming from an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), there will be no charge.
Note: Referrals incur an additional fee to cover administration costs based on my hourly rate.
Standard therapy sessions are 60 minutes long.
I currently work every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday between 9:30am-4:30pm. Although, I am happy to discuss sessions outside of these times if needed.
I require a 24-hour notice for cancellations. If you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment and do not cancel at least 24 hours in advance, you will be responsible for the full cost of the session.
The first session is primarily about getting to know each other. I like to spend this time discussing your concerns and what you hope to get out of therapy. This allows me to get a good understanding of your needs and strengths, while giving you the chance to see if you feel comfortable with my style and approach.
Taking the first step can be daunting, but I am here to answer any questions you may have. Please fill out the form, and I will get back to you within 24 hours.
